Hazelnuts are an emerging new crop for Wisconsin and there is a lot happening right now. We thought it would be a good idea to spend an entire week celebrating hazelnuts. Please join us! The week of August 15-20 will be a great opportunity to learn about hazelnuts, discover hazelnuts as both a farming opportunity and a tasty new local food, and get started with your growing and eating. Below is a list of events. Check back frequently as we add more events and opportunities. Unless otherwise noted, all of the events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but would be appreciated. For any comments or questions contact: jason.fischbach@wisc.edu.
